Why are only ten players possible?

Valheim itself allows ten concurrent players. The limit comes from the game, not from the plan.

Can PC, Xbox, PS5 and Switch 2 players play together?

Yes, with crossplay switched on. All players join the same world with the join code. Mods cannot be installed on consoles.

Do my friends need the same mods?

That depends on the mod. Mods that change gameplay are needed by everyone, server-side mods only on the server.

Can I bring an existing world?

Yes. World and progress can be uploaded, and the current state can be downloaded at any time.

Can I access the files of my server?

Yes, with the file manager in the customer portal. From Flex M you upload files, edit text files, create folders, rename and delete. With Flex S you view and download the files. Backups and settings files managed by the customer portal are read-only.

How quickly is my server ready?

Usually within minutes. The server is set up automatically, the access details are sent by email.

How long is the contract?

One month. After that the server can be cancelled monthly with one month's notice. There is no setup fee.

Can I play a different game later?

Yes. You switch the game yourself in the customer portal, free of charge and as often as you like. Your Valheim world is kept. When you switch back, the last state is restored.

What happens to my world when I cancel?

Your last save is kept for 90 days after the contract ends. If you order a new Valheim server within that time, it is taken over into the new server.

Where is the server located?

In a data center in Germany. Glowfish has been an owner-managed hosting provider in Munich since 2006.

Players on PC, Xbox, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 can play on the same world. Crossplay can be switched on or off at any time.

Mods via BepInEx

The BepInEx mod loader is installed on the server from Flex M. Mods that change gameplay must be installed by every player as well, server-side mods only on the server.

Admin, ban and permitted lists

The lists are managed in the customer portal. The server applies changes without a restart. Banned players are disconnected, new admins receive their rights after reconnecting.
