With your own Hytale account, once, via a device code in the customer portal.

Can I access the files of my server?

Yes, with the file manager in the customer portal. From Flex M you upload files, edit text files, create folders, rename and delete. With Flex S you view and download the files. Backups and settings files managed by the customer portal are read-only.

How quickly is my server ready?

Usually within minutes. The server is set up automatically, the access details are sent by email.

How long is the contract?

One month. After that the server can be cancelled monthly with one month's notice. There is no setup fee.

Can I play a different game later?

Yes. You switch the game yourself in the customer portal, free of charge and as often as you like. Your Hytale world is kept. When you switch back, the last state is restored.

What happens to my world when I cancel?

Your last save is kept for 90 days after the contract ends. If you order a new Hytale server within that time, it is taken over into the new server.

Where is the server located?

In a data center in Germany. Glowfish has been an owner-managed hosting provider in Munich since 2006.

Is the order process available in English?

Hytale server details

Official server

The server runs the official Hytale server software. Hytale is in early access. Game and server must have the same version, new versions are installed promptly.

Sign-in with your Hytale account

The server is signed in once with your own Hytale account, using a device code shown in the customer portal. The sign-in persists across restarts.

Joining

Players connect from the Hytale game on PC using the server address and port.

World settings

World name, game mode (Adventure or Creative) and seed are set when ordering, optionally with a server password.

The data folder of your server is managed in the browser: upload and download files, edit text files, create folders, rename and delete. Flex S: view and download.
