From Flex M via a Steam Workshop collection: you enter the collection ID, the server downloads the content itself.

Does the server run the 64-bit version of Garry's Mod?

Yes. The 64-bit version is available as a branch and can be switched back at any time.

Can I access the files of my server?

Yes, with the file manager in the customer portal. From Flex M you upload files, edit text files, create folders, rename and delete. With Flex S you view and download the files. Backups and settings files managed by the customer portal are read-only.

How quickly is my server ready?

Usually within minutes. The server is set up automatically, the access details are sent by email.

How long is the contract?

One month. After that the server can be cancelled monthly with one month's notice. There is no setup fee.

Can I play a different game later?

Yes. You switch the game yourself in the customer portal, free of charge and as often as you like. Your Garry's Mod world is kept. When you switch back, the last state is restored.

What happens to my world when I cancel?

Your last save is kept for 90 days after the contract ends. If you order a new Garry's Mod server within that time, it is taken over into the new server.

Where is the server located?

In a data center in Germany. Glowfish has been an owner-managed hosting provider in Munich since 2006.

Joining via Steam

Players join via Steam with the PC version of Garry's Mod.

Gamemode and map

Gamemode (default Sandbox) and start map (default gm_construct) are set when ordering, optionally with a server password.

32 or 64 bit

The server runs either the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of Garry's Mod. A backup is made before switching.
