Can I use mods or tModLoader?

Yes, from Flex M via tModLoader. Mods are uploaded as .tmod files. The mod world is a separate world, and all players need tModLoader.

Can I access the files of my server?

Yes, with the file manager in the customer portal. From Flex M you upload files, edit text files, create folders, rename and delete. With Flex S you view and download the files. Backups and settings files managed by the customer portal are read-only.

How quickly is my server ready?

Usually within minutes. The server is set up automatically, the access details are sent by email.

How long is the contract?

One month. After that the server can be cancelled monthly with one month's notice. There is no setup fee.

Can I play a different game later?

Yes. You switch the game yourself in the customer portal, free of charge and as often as you like. Your Terraria world is kept. When you switch back, the last state is restored.

What happens to my world when I cancel?

Your last save is kept for 90 days after the contract ends. If you order a new Terraria server within that time, it is taken over into the new server.

Where is the server located?

In a data center in Germany. Glowfish has been an owner-managed hosting provider in Munich since 2006.

Terraria server details

Official server, mods via tModLoader

Without mods the server runs the official software from terraria.org. From Flex M, mods can be enabled via tModLoader (.tmod files). The server then creates a separate world, and all players need tModLoader.

For the PC version

Players of the PC version on Steam or GOG can join. The console and mobile versions cannot connect to a dedicated server.

World settings

Name, size (small, medium, large), difficulty (Classic, Expert, Master, Journey) and seed are set when ordering, optionally with a server password.

The data folder of your server is managed in the browser: upload and download files, edit text files, create folders, rename and delete. Flex S: view and download.
