Yes, with the file manager in the customer portal. From Flex M you upload files, edit text files, create folders, rename and delete. With Flex S you view and download the files. Backups and settings files managed by the customer portal are read-only.

How quickly is my server ready?

Usually within minutes. The server is set up automatically, the access details are sent by email.

How long is the contract?

One month. After that the server can be cancelled monthly with one month's notice. There is no setup fee.

Can I play a different game later?

Yes. You switch the game yourself in the customer portal, free of charge and as often as you like. Your Factorio world is kept. When you switch back, the last state is restored.

What happens to my world when I cancel?

Your last save is kept for 90 days after the contract ends. If you order a new Factorio server within that time, it is taken over into the new server.

In a data center in Germany. Glowfish has been an owner-managed hosting provider in Munich since 2006.

Factorio server details

Space Age is enabled by default

The free Factorio 2.0 server package already contains the space-age, quality and elevated-rails expansions. Without a different choice they are enabled, and only players who own Space Age can join.

Switching Space Age off

For a game without the expansion it is switched off before the world is created. A world started with Space Age cannot be changed back.

Mods must match

The server has its own mod folder. All players need the same mods in the same version, otherwise the server rejects the connection.

Pause instead of continuous operation

The factory either keeps running or stops while nobody is connected. This saves computing time and does not change the save.
