Broadcasting music in Germany requires a license from GEMA and GVL, even for small stations and without advertising, regardless of the hosting provider. You register directly with the collecting societies. No license is required for spoken content, your own music and freely licensed tracks.
Each person who helps run the station can get their own access with the rights that you assign.
You decide separately for each server and each action. For example, one person may only restart the server, while another can also open the console.
Each person logs in with their own email address and confirms every login with a code sent by SMS. You do not need to share your own password.
Only the contracting party can make cancellations, orders and changes to master data or the payment method.
You see the email address and a description that you assign yourself. In turn, you appear under a name of your choice, or under a pseudonym if you prefer.
