Creating, downloading and restoring backups
Your data belongs to you. You create backups yourself, download them and restore them when needed. This way you always have a copy on your own computer or server.

- Creating a backup on demand, in addition to the regular backups.
- Downloading backups, in full or in parts.
- Restoring a complete backup, individual files or parts.
- Downloading and importing individual databases as SQL files.
vServer
- Creating a backup of the server and downloading it as an archive.
- Sending backups to your own SFTP server on your own schedule.
- Excluding directories from the backup, such as caches.
- For data that should survive a reinstallation, there is the Rettungsverzeichnis (temporary storage that is kept during a reinstallation), see Reinstalling a server without losing data.
Spieleserver Flex
- Daily backup, kept for 30 days.
- Creating a current backup with "Jetzt sichern" (Back up now), for example before an update. Named backups are kept permanently.
